How Long Do I have to Declare a Major?
All the time you need...the University of Nebraska-Lincoln does not offer a degree in General Studies. This means that you will eventually need to declare a major, but the University of Nebraska-Lincoln does not have a time limit on declaring. We hope you will have an idea about your major by the third time you register for classes. This gives you about a year and a half to decide a major.
